Have you ever wanted to design your own base for TRIBES?  Ever wanted to put the Golden Gate Bridge on Dangerous Crossing?  Well now you can, thanks to Sty and his wonderful tutorial on getting objects from Worldcraft into TRIBES...  Take a peek here, and be prepared to hit the map maker's scene...

Happy Valentine's Day!! We finally have the Forums up and running, so if you need some help with a certain program, have some advice, or just plain want to talk to someone, here's your chance. We have a section for those that need art created for them, and another section for those that are willing to create some works. If you think we need another section added, just e-mail us at tribesart@hotmail.com , and we'll be happy to add it to the boards.

*Works in progress* - We are hoping to get the last contest's artwork up on it's own page. We are also in the progress of finding some information out from the dev. team regarding the next contest. We are thinking about getting a free mailing list program to keep you informed as to the updates we make on the page.

If you can think of anything we're missing, or would like to see here on TRIBESart, then drop us a line, connect with me on ICQ or leave a note on the Forum, and we'll be happy to see what you have in mind.

We recieved a couple of new images. One is from our very own Omega Red, and the other comes from a new member, Blackjack. Go ahead and check 'em out, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. I've also added a few bits of ICQ information. If you check out the email page, you'll find a nifty icon that will tell you whether or not I'm online. There is also the ability to send me messages directly from this page to my ICQ client. Even if you don't have ICQ, you can use it. The forum's taking a bit longer than I expected, but we do have some links that were sent in. Thanks go to STY and Strijder for sending those in. I'm working on some small pics for those of you with your own web pages to use for linking to TRIBESart. Anyone is free to do so, and I would be happy to put up a reciprocal link to your page too.

That's all we have for now, but stay tuned as we hope to have lots more in store for you.

Welcome back to the new TRIBESart. We are now on a new server with much more space and NO banners. What does this mean to you? Faster downloading of the pictures and artwork without having to wait for a damn banner to load. There are a few changes to the pages also. We've got a nifty new look (at least I hope it's nifty), and a little different way of viewing the artwork.

If you go to the Artist's page, you'll notice that everyone is listed on the same page. The links that will appear on the left will take you to that artist's thumbnails on the page. If you want to see a piece of work, then all you have to do is click on the thumbnail. A new browser window should pop up with the artwork in it. (The thumbnails also include the file size for us low bandwidth users. Just leave your mouse over the thumbnail, and the pic size will pop up.)

Just to let you know, the Forums link is still not up, but will be in the next day or two.

We also need your help. We are going to want to fill up the links section with all kinds of TRIBES related stuff. So, if you have a cool TRIBES site that you want listed, please e-mail us at our new address: tribesart@hotmail.com with the word LINK in the subject line. Include the address, the name of the page, and a short description of what it's about. Hopefully, we'll have our very own link list for all TRIBErs to use.

Other plans: We also hope to start having news blurbs that affect the world of TRIBESart. We're hoping to have some inciteful articles about everything from imaging programs to drawing tablets to compression utilities. If you have a request for an article, or are interested in writing an article, please e-mail us at: tribesart@hotmail.com with the word NEWS in the subject line.

There is also another contest in the works. The contest committee is working out the final bits on it. More to come...

Of course I don't have to tell you that we are seriously under construction right now, so expect it.
